Beat the network into submission...
So I get home from Lady Jade's and the network goes down. Whoo... After several attempts I beat it down and now it's running again.
Tonight was good. Ended up in Hammer's lap in an attempt to keep him from leaving the group early... Jade tried holding him down via his neck. I'm bigger, so I figured I could pin him better that way. We won for a while. ;-) But eventually he ran off.
If everything I made today sold for my asking prices, I would make $110. Not bad for only a few hours of work. My favorite pieces are the chunks of Stilton cheese that cut open to reveal the "mold" effect inside and the decorated cake that cuts open to reveal layers. I cut slices out of them to show off the hours I put into each piece.
I am hoping to get some quality time/mixing help this weekend when RJ comes to see me. He's the best at mixing polymer clay colors. We used to do all sorts of that silliness back in school. I need that again. Life is starting to be a strain living in my cave... family is falling apart. Eventually I will have a new family and last name to go with it. I am lucky in that my prospective in-laws are wonderful, caring, and considerate people. They are respectful of our privacy as a couple and individuals. I personally would be more distraut if something horrid happened to them than someone in my blood relative pool o' insanity.
Tomorrow's tentative agenda:
-more mini cakes, cheeses, breads, and maybe some fruit or teapots
-more laundry
-convince someone in the household with money to either give me some or go to the store with me to get food and medicine
-read classifieds (again and always)
If I get bored later this week and have a good bit o' inventory made up I might try some of the facial sculpting techniques I've been reading about. I would love to have miniatures based off of my friends (with their permission) to put together a mini gaming session around eitehr a dining room table or surrounding a coffee table with tons off couches, beanbag chairs, and floor pillows. Can't you just see the mini gaming books, 2-liters of soda, bags of snacks, and tiny-ass dice? ;-)
Going to finish winding down from the werestling match and sever issues.. finish my book so it quits luring me from early sleep, and crash.
