The irony hasn't escaped me...
So when I was in Rolla last I was drawn inevitably to Wal-Mart. (I forgot to bring a towel) I noticed these cheapy little laser cut key-chains with various designs in the acrillyc cubes. The one with the motorcycle cut into it was perfect for my miniature garage scene and it was only about $2.50.
I dug the keychain out of my bag tonight while sifting out laundry to do... decided it wouldn't take much to break off the chain bit from the square. Low and behold even the rings are soldered together on this thing. It will not come off. The 'Made in China' tag and the Wal-Mart recipt belie the would-be sculpture. I am impressed, annoyed, and determined now. It will come off if it's the last thing I do.
