Chapter 61 - It's a Date

Pairings: Yunjae, little hints of Yoosu and Changmin / Lee Jun Ki
Warnings: mention rape and abuse, some violence, smut.
Summary:
Kim Jaejoong is forced to do business with the mafia who keep threatening him. Changmin, Junsu and Yoochun are responsible for his security. Jung Yunho is a cop investigating a paedophile/mafia man named Kim Jaejoong and the mafia is blackmailing him to do one job for them: kill Jaejoong. And so their paths collided. A week later, Jung Yunho is more than a prisoner in Kim Jaejoong's house and both mafia and cops are getting near the two men. Now Taemin is back and there's a race to find him first. However, at the end of evrything remains a question: how do you heal wounds?

Chapter 1 - Jaejoong Intro, ... Chapter 60 - One Final Scare,

Jaejoong looked over his wardrobe. He wanted something casual instead of his usual suits. He felt almost giddy as he got ready for his date with Yunho. The cop had finally left work and had just called, on his way to pick him up. They had agreed to go have dinner together. He caught sight of his reflection in the mirrors. He was wearing a stupid huge smile again. He totally liked that.

Yunho parked his car and, with a deep breath to prepare himself to meet the teasing bodyguards, knocked on the door. The door was slightly open and no one in sight. He peaked further into the living room.

Jaejoong came running down the stairs in boots, a leather jacket, an open necked t-shirt and tight jeans that made Yunho’s mouth go dry. The beautiful man’s face was shining with a huge smile. That gave his heart butterflies, making Yunho incapable of saying anything.

-Hi!

-H-hi. Ah… So… Where’s everybody?

-I think Junsu and Jun Ki locked their men in their rooms. Eric and Donghae are with Taemin, he has guitar lessons until later today. You know the other guards know how to behave.

Yunho couldn’t help but chuckle back at Jajoong’s happy mood. He casually put in hands in the pockets of his jeans and with a sideways look, asked in his most teasing voice:

-Ok, Mr. Kim. Where are you taking me?

Jaejoong looked at the tall man from head to toe, crossed his arms and with an equally sideways look and teasing voice answered:

-But Mr. Jung, you’re the one driving. Shouldn’t you know?

Both men were smiling as they left the house.

Yoochun came down the stairs with a pout, glaring at a smiling Junsu that followed him.

-Great! They already left! You tricked me!

-How did I trick you? - Asked Junsu with a chuckle.

-Yeahh, how did Junsu tricked you? - Asked Changmin, also coming down the stairs, Jun Ki right behind him.

Yoochun glared at Changmin, ready to send him to hell, when his eyes bulged noticing how the arriving couple had tell-tale signs of a hot make out session. Yoochun turned and stomped away to the sofa, mumbling all the way.

-What the hell? This Universe has gone crazy. I get lured under false pretences; I get nothing more than a few kisses; and that brat gets lucky.

Yoochun turned on his heels.

-Junsu, you are so done with me.

Junsu smiled, casually joining his boyfriend on the sofa. He didn’t mind getting Yoochun a little annoyed from time to time, the end results were always very satisfying.

Jun Ki and Changmin sat on another sofa, turning the tv on. However, the tall bodyguard was a little restless.

-Ok, I’m kinda ok that Junsu and Mr. Lee here allowed Jae and Yunho to sneak out with no teasing. However, I want to catch them when they get back.

-Mr. Lee? You two are weird. By the way, you’re ok with it cause you got lucky. - Grumbled Yoochun.

-Sort that with your man. Not my fault. Anyway, how do we catch those two when they get back?

-If they get back. - Said Jun Ki.

-The way they’re taking things slow, I bet Yunho will bring Jae back. Now… I know exactly how to make sure we catch them returning. - Said Junsu.

Inside the car the two men fell silent, unsure of what to talk about. Yunho focused his attention on the road leaving his passenger to enjoy the view outside and sneak occasional glances at him.

At a traffic sign, Jaejoong noticed how Yunho’s hand seemed to hover above his leg for a few seconds. Putting his theory to the test, the business man moved his leg a little closer to the clutch.

At the next traffic signs, Jaejoong internally smiled, very pleased, because he noticed how Yunho changed from slowing down in a higher gear to start switching gears until full stop. All the time, the cop’s hand would brush against his leg. In fact, Yunho seemed to leave his hand forgotten on the clutch even when the road was perfectly clear.

Jaejoong didn’t move his leg away. The warmth from Yunho’s hand felt too pleasant.

Jaejoong chose the same restaurant where he had lunch. It was a quiet place with lots of secluded seats and the food was good.

Dinner was a little awkward at first. After all, it was the first time they were all alone with no one else to help cover up the silent moments. Still, Jaejoong found he was taking more chances than ever. Yunho wasn’t hiding that he felt attracted to him and that gave the beautiful man the courage he needed to take little steps he had never dared before. In a way, it was as if he was finally behaving like the guy in a relationship or, at least, behaving like himself, instead of his demure social persona he had always thought he should put on with men he felt interested in.

As for Yunho, he was at ease allowing Jaejoong to be the one setting the pace. He had no idea of how affected the slim man still was with everything that had happened and he didn’t want to risk making a wrong move that could ruin everything. The cop was smart to notice the little moves and openings Jaejoong gave him and he simply took them.

In the car, it had been simple to let his hand rest on the clutch. He was well aware of how his hand was touching Jaejoong’s leg. However, the beautiful man hadn’t moved his leg away which meant he welcomed the touch under the guise that it wasn’t intentional. Yunho had butterflies in his belly the entire car ride, his hand hitching to touch much more.

Over the food and the wine, they both relaxed and, more and more, Jaejoong searched for contact. His hand would casually touch Yunho’s for a few seconds. His feet would go forward until they ended up staying close to the cop’s. He offered food and accepted food. They didn’t talk much but their eyes lingered, making both of them self-conscious of their mutual blushing faces.

When desert finally came, Jaejoong placed one of his hands over Yunho’s. The cop squeezed it back, not allowing the other man to remove it. He even moved his legs so that there was more contact with the slim legs who had been playing with touch and run all through dinner.

Jaejoong froze for a second. He noticed how Yunho was trying to judge his reaction. He smiled a little, feeling a little shy, and decided it was best to just eat his desert.

While they waited for coffee, Yunho went to the bathroom, leaving Jaejoong alone for a few minutes. Distracted, the business man didn’t notice anyone approaching until it was too late.

He was cornered by the same man with whom he had lunch with.

The guy was accompanied by some other men, two of them westerners that Jaejoong recognized, much to his dismay. The presence of the other men kept the slim man from being uncivil, however drunk the guy was.

Yunho was happily returning when he noticed how Jaejoong wasn’t alone.

His first instinct watching some unknown man way too close to his date was to go over there and punch the man. But much as he could be jealous and was very possessive he could also analyse a situation. No one noticed him so he just paid attention to what was going on.

The man talking to Jaejoong was obviously drunk and harassing him. The need to punch the guy burned in Yunho’s veins when he was able to hear what the guy was saying. However, it was Jaejoong’s behaviour that intrigued Yunho. He could easily recognise how furious the business man was, yet Jaejoong kept trying to politely get rid of the drunk guy.

Yunho sighed. Social conventions could be as binding as having to follow the law as a cop. Apparently, Jaejoong didn’t want to risk causing a scandal that could damage his reputation in the business world. It was probably bad enough all the fuss caused by Choi Siwon’s trial and the mafia rumours. The cop resigned to behave properly. Punching the guy would make him feel much better but he didn’t want to risk endangering Jaejoong’s business deals.

Jaejoong kept stealing glances to the other men to assess the damage of the drunk man’s insinuations.

Yunho approached with heavy steps so that everyone was aware of his presence. Jaejoong’s eyes suddenly shined with mischief, surprising the cop.

The beautiful man introduced Yunho to everyone following the best etiquette rules but left the drunk man for last. The cop pretended not to notice the obvious insult Jaejoong intended with the gesture. It amused him that his date could handle such a volatile situation and come out the winner. Anyway, he was also too happy that because there were westerners, they were using handshakes. The cop made sure to squeeze the drunk guy’s hand just enough to give him some personal satisfaction without being too obvious. The way he looked while shaking the man’s hand also seemed to help change the guy’s mind about saying anything else.

After they left, one of the westerners slipping Jaejoong a business card, the slim man sat back with a sigh of relief.

-Well, that sorted itself out better than I expected.

-How many guys like that do you have to put up with?

-Too many. Lately I had been so preoccupied with mafia dogs that I almost forgot the kind of business men I usually need to avoid. He’s just a creep. The kind of guy that normally pretends to be a nice person but the second they look at my face, and judge me weak, their real personalities show up. It’s a little like what I had to put up with at school. Sometimes I doubt people ever grow up past a certain age. Oh, by the way, thanks for not punching him.

-No worry. I’m sure you probably wanted to punch him a lot more than I wanted to. That would have surprised him.

-Indeed. It used to surprise the unlucky few at school as well. - Jaejoong laughed.

-He might have trouble with his hand for a while, though. - Confessed Yunho.

-Fine by me.

-You introduced him last.

-Slap with a white glove. I’m sure he explained Korean greeting costumes in great detail. He should have been first or second. - Smiled Jaejoong.

-The other guys were trying not to laugh.

Jaejoong twirled the business card in his hand.

-I might just be able to get the new supplier I wanted and without the middle man.

None of them was in any hurry to go anywhere so, they left the car parked near the restaurant, and walked into the night, no destination in mind. Eventually, they ended up near the river.

Suddenly, at a secluded spot in the river bank, Yunho looked around surprised.

-We’re near the University campus, aren’t we?

-Yes. It’s very close by. How do you know? You went to a different one, didn’t you?

-But this is also close to the hospital where my mom stayed. I explored this area countless times. It’s a little different, though. I wonder if…

-If what?

-Come with me.

Yunho grabbed Jaejoong’s hand and took off running in the dark. The business man followed, bewildered and curious. At a spot that, to Jaejoong, looked no different than everything else so far, Yunho stopped and seemed to search for something.

-Yes! Found it! It’s still in the same hiding place. Must be the same guy working here even after all these years.

Jaejoong looked puzzled at the key in the smiling cop’s hand. Yunho grabbed the other man again and went up some half hidden stairs.

-I would come walk around the river often. More or less always at the same time. And noticed how one of the maintenance man kept a hidden key. I thought it was simply a key to one of the maintenance cabins scattered along the river. Until I followed him out of boredom and curiosity. Check this out.

The stairs led to a set of rusty doors on the side of the concrete wall. Nothing distinguished between the doors but Yunho knew which one to open. They moved along a narrow dark staircase until light started to show their destination.

-What?

Jaejoong looked around surprised. It was a small room with a huge window overlooking the river and the nearby bridge. Instead of machinery or whatever he might expect there was a comfortable old looking sofa, a tv and a small fridge.

-A secret lair. I spent many hours here just looking at the river or watching tv. I doubt the guy ever noticed someone else was using his hidden place. Lord, it’s been years. The last time I was here I was still at University. Nothing changed here except the tv. That’s a new one.

Jaejoong walked around studying the place, trying to imagine a younger Yunho spending time there. When he looked back at the tall cop, the man was stretching in front of the window in a languid full body movement, sort of like an oversized cat. Jaejoong felt his mouth fall open at the sight and his body reacting in interest.

Yunho was oblivious to the hungry stare behind him. He was lost in old memories of the place for some moments, some fond, some sad. He stretched his body again, his muscles straining a little in protest. It had been a long day; first a normal work morning, then the stressful trial session followed by someone shooting Siwon, the thorough search to find nothing and then even more work and worst, paperwork which he hated the most. At some point he had even doubted he’d still be able to meet Jaejoong.

Remembering the beautiful man made Yunho smile. He hadn’t been the one to ask for a date first but he was happy how things had worked out so far. He felt good noticing how Jaejoong seemed to be relaxing more around him. He also rather liked this new confident and less easily angry Jaejoong. It just seemed to add extra sexiness to an already irresistible package.

Jaejoong moved slowly, watching Yunho’s body stretching. He was suddenly remembering how much and exactly how he wanted to touch the taller man. Desire burned him and threatened to cloud his judgement. With a deep breath, Jaejoong forced himself not to act on impulse. He wasn’t willing to ruin everything now just because his cock was straining inside his jeans.

Yunho finally felt the pull of Jaejoong’s eyes on him. He turned to look at the business man and his heart skipped a beat. There was no mistaking the way the shorter man was looking at him. His own body reacted immediately. He felt a shiver down his spine and tingles all over, his skin screaming to feel Jaejoong’s touch again.

Jaejoong didn’t bother disguising his look. He slowly approached Yunho, carefully watching the man’s reactions. The second he noticed how the tall man was staring at him with lust clouded eyes, he lost it and just grabbed Yunho.

Chapter 62 - Hot Cold Night,

........................................................................

A very small update to remind everyone that this story isn't over.
By the way, these two tricked me. They decided to flirt instead of getting down to sexy times.
I was trying to write the missing part to link to what I already have but I didn't made it all the way, sorry. I know that I'm suppose to be in control of my own characters but sometimes that's not how it works. I'm going to try and write more tomorrow. Wish me luck.
