i finished reading madeleine l'engle's novel a severed wasp this afternoon, and it left me vaguely disturbed, which was not quite what i expected from it. l'engle, of course, is famous for her children's books, the wrinkle in time series, but i've read almost all of her adult novels as well as her children's and ya stuff. a live coal in the sea, ( Read more... )
