now that the thesis is turned in

WHEE! You are far more low-key about that statement than I was. I think I heard trumpets. :) Congrats!

thank you! i might be a little less low-key about it if i didn't have a massive mountain of work still left to do to graduate, but either way, it certainly feels good. :)

I am running off to class and will talk about this in more detail later, but OH YES, I COLLECT TITLES. I rarely write the fics that go with them, but I do collect them. And they're usually LONG, and often come from dialogue from TV or movies. Or songs.

Hallo Min.

things i learned in the month of march include the fact that if sitting on your couch in sweatpants, a basketball jersey bearing the number of your future ex-husband and a tiara is the only way you're going to edit your thesis, sometimes it's just what you've got to do.

Do you think this would help me in my exam-writing next week?

dialogue tends not to make it into my title list, mostly because i also collect snippets of dialogue for various other purposes, but song lyrics and lines of poetry, oh, so many of those. another favorite that's waiting for a supernatural story to go with it is "religion has made an honest woman of the supernatural".

it might help you write your exams? but you can't borrow my tiara or my wes miller jersey, i still need them for my independent study and my final projects. :)

I don't think they'd let me wear a tiara into the exam room, anyway. More's the pity.

This is my disorganized post of titles and ideas, if you're interested.

And that post reminded me that I really want to run the " Margaritas and Cock (Taste Better in Mexico)" fic challenge or whatever.

I totally have scraps of lyric/possible titles stuck all over my computer at work! I wonder what my co-workers think they ARE, especially "I'm not crazy and you're not nice."

well, "i'm not crazy and you're not nice" could be a ... commentary on your feelings about your workplace? *grin*

In that context, however, it would be untrue on both counts. (I quite like my co-workers, and I am one of the Token Eccentrics...)

i think you're on your own for explanations, then, i'm all out. :) (but i'm glad to know i'm not the only one who collects phrases like that, yay!)

it won't be 80 here by the end of the week! it's only supposed to be in the low 70s this weekend, and back into the 60s next week. *shivers*

well, after 7 years in minnesota and chicago -- i was ready for somewhere warm. and maybe you're just ready for the cold, although i think if you are, you're also a certifiable crazy person. :)
