sacred silence...

sorry for the delay but i've been busy. here's what has been going on kids!

for all you rentheads who love the original broadway cast like i do, taye diggs, wilson jermaine heredia, jesse l. martin, idina menzel, adam pascal, and my absolute favorite, anthony rapp are all going to be in the movie version of rent!!! oh hell yes all!

for the remainder of this post, i'm going to work memento style kids (except after this monday, then it's a free for all to highten the tension).

today, regular day. went to my made six bracelets, went to my vocal lesson, went to the ortho office, went to the hospital to get my tb test read. hurray it's negative!!! my mom freaked me out so bad. being a nurse, she was saying they could read it positive because it was red a elevated a bit. whatever.

tuesday, nothing interesting at all so let's move on shall we?

monday, got my tb test finally. i was suppose to get it a month ago but oops. well, i left arizona at about 5 in the morning and i almost cried. said goodbye to my grandparents, my aunt and uncle, ozwald, my sister, and of course diablo II. slept most of the way. i didn't wake up until we got to l.a. and it was about 11. fell asleep to the soothing voice of matt maher. hmmm. went to school, got my homework and such, hung out with carlé and elyse and sam. fun stuff.

so after that amazing thanksgiving, i played diablo II. i'm hooked and i'm in withdrawal right now. however, i did get to meet my sister's boyfriend who, in my opinion, is very cool. watching my sister and him beat each other up (of course he won, he's a whole foot taller than her) was one of the highlights of my vacation. i also got my christmas present early from my sister, the movie amélie. and of course, being the amazing sister she is, she also bought me harry potter. watched the movie, all the special features, and the movie again all in a row. fun stuff.

sunday, one of my best sunday's, or any day for that matter, ever. some old friends came over to the house and we played around a bit. my sister and i then ditched at 3 and went with her boyfriend to fiesta mall to go find some pants. i bought two movies, zoolander (finally) and y tu mama tambien. i have yet to watch the latter. (after mass i also bought love actually at block buster) then we went back to his apartment and listened to some metal. i actually like some of it. i was very surprised with myself. anyway, then my sister and i left to go to mass. oh my st. tim's how i have missed you. as i have said previously, worship is a big part of my life and the fact that the congregation and music ministers at st. tim's are amazing in that area, i absolutely love that church. plus matt maher is hot like no other. so far no one comes close. *elaine starts to drool and flash back to her time at st. tim's* after mass, i bought a tom booth cd, unravel, which i must say is better than i thought it would be. i'm listening to it at the moment. oh man music is too amazing. it blows me away. well, my sister got me a hot chocolate afterwards and as we were driving home, we had a nice conversation that helped me a lot. i've been thinking about so much and that conversation just confirmed my beliefs. thanks ate for everything, always...

unravel:

"it was like a dream,
it was like a thing you see on TV.
it was like a play,
it was like a day you wish hadn't happened.
'cause all i'd worked for,
all i dreamed of unraveled in my hands.
it started out okay;
i was dressed and clean and shaved and handsome.
all had gone my way.
just one more time and i'd become a legend.
but you stepped in...
and stole my hopes, my pride, my future and my win.

in the middle of a circumstance,
you gotta chalk it up to happenstance.
you never know what's gonna come your way.
if you're spinnin' off the road again,
take a breath and take a look at him;
you never know when you might unravel.

there for all to see,
i lost my head and took yours in the process.
i tried to walk away,
but i'm not one to fake a graceful drowning.
but you stepped in...
you stepped in and showed me losing could be winning..."
