crazy kids...
i must say, this year's thanksgiving was by far the best ever. as usual, my family got together with the old hawaii crowd (all of us lived in hawaii and worked in the same hotel) and had dinner and the rich one's house. always fun. i played badmitton with my sister and kennedy (he's a crazy 8 year old kid). had some good times with that. did our annual "i'm thankful for..." my sister and i did the same exact thing. next year we plan to write in different languages, i in french and her in italian. anyway, the crowd's planning to go to ms. mary's house next year, she lives near d.c. so i'm excited for that. however, i really am excited for thanksgiving two years from now because we all plan to go back to hawaii and show the only kid of our group who was born there, kelsey, where she was born. the funniest part of the night was when i was trying to teach my sister the west side story step i do and adding the way the music man walks. (just like me and elyse did during the hoedown at cc). good times with my sister as always.
oh man, i always love getting together with all of them because the stories and memories we all share, it reminds me of the better points of my childhood. all the barbeques, the parties at this one house with this huge pool, snail races, days at the beach, the reardon's house and how everything was always blown away, the jacuzzi at the orchid, the toblerone and pineapple juice everyday afterschool, my and my sister playing ping pong, and my favorite, sitting in the hammocks watching the sun setting over the ocean. all the great memories, i thank them for that.
