bad joke of the day-interupted

Hey everyone.  Sorry about the lack of a post last night but dude, serisouly, we were beyond exhuasted when we finally staggered into the hotel.  Even the GPS stopped talking to us, unless it was to take us through the ghetto to get to our hotel.  But after about 10 hours of sleep, we were off and running again.  This time we left Albuquerque, New Mexico for Santa Fe, mainly Old Town in Santa Fe.  What a beautiful part of the town.  The streets were more like small alley ways and the whole time i was walking around, I kept thinking "Holy shit, Billy the Kid wandered this town" and then it was "Dad would love this!".  We went to the oldest Church in North America and also saw the oldest house in the US, both of which are dated to the early 1600's.  On the way home, we skipped the Interstate and took a side route that is also called the Turquoise Trail.  It took us through a lot of small towns and the mountains on the way back to Albequerque.  Very pretty. While we were in Santa Fe, i bought myself a new ring.  It's silver and has crushed blue opal in it, it's very unique.  We had lunch at a little place called the Blue Corn Cafe.  So good and very authentic.  I had a honey/chipotle chicken breast and seasoned fries.  Very yummy...in fact, my lips are a little blistered from the spice.  Anyway, in leiu of a joke tonight, you get pics:  Today is September 27 and here is today's photo montage!
