STRANGE.....AND SHOCKING.......
This weekend was very strange and shocking to say the least!!!!!
STRANGE:
Friday night Rob had band practice so Erin and I tagged along. Its over an hour away. Thank god they practice every other week at this spot. Its a hike. If you ever seen on TLC the show called "Town Hall" Where the fixed up a few spots in Jeffersonville, NY then you know what i'm talking about. They practice right behind the Ice Cream stand called Kelly Cones. Lets say it was an experience all on its own. It was a total culture shock maybe. Just strange people, and a strange town. We get to the spot, and all these people were there. Girls who were 19 or younger with their 2-3 year old kids in a feezing cold barn/building. The heat broke so they had one single karosein heater. The girls looked like little hookers. Especially the drummers girlfriend. They call her the oriental express. She hates that, but its kinda funny. She has like 9 kids. Anyways. These girls had there kids in the building while the music was so loud and freezing.... I was going to say something, but it was my first time up there so I kept my mouth shut. The guy who owns the place winterized the bathroom so Erin and I had to walk across the street to use the gas station to pee. Thank god it was only right across the street. One time we walked in the gas station and this older lady who worked at the Gas Station was jumping up and down screaming she made 20,000 this year. It was just odd..... We were just like ummmmmmmmm ok and walked out. So at the end of the practice one of the weird girls comes up to us and goes oh my god you guys I got the best job in the whole entire world. So we were like oh doing what. She's like I work at Subway how fucking cool is that. Erin and I looked at each other and didn't know what to say to the chick. We just said thats sooooooooo cool. Good for you. Thank goodness we were leaving. As we left the oriental express chick slammed the friggin door in my face when she knew that I was carrying out stuff. Stupid Bitch... So much for me being nice to her. Not anymore.
So Saturday I woke up early not feeling so well. I'm not the drinker I used to be. My stomach wasn't feeling so very well. So I finially fell back to sleep after an hour. Woke back up at One in the afternoon, and took a shower. We went over to Gary and Erins for a few more drinks, and played darts. I was bombed after two glasses of Erin and I's favorite Sparkling wine. We had added to the wine this orange vodka that was homeade, and put some cranberry juice in it. The last glass was STRONG. We got home at 7pm, and this is when the night became shocking......
The SHOCKER!!!!!!!!
I fell asleep 20 minutes after we had came home. Rob was dozing. He jumped up outta bed, and then that woke me up. We hear a loud knock at the door. I'm like oh it has to be Toddie your brother in law. He's like nah he woulda called. Rob goes downstairs, and then my cell phone rings. Its My brother. I hit the button i'm like nah that couldn't be him. Then Rob Goes Mindy are you up are you up your brother is here. MY FACE HITS THE FLOOR. I'M LIKE WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING HERE. Here I am thinking something is wrong in my family because why would he show up. I go downstairs and he has a 12 pack in his hand and goes I come in peice. I'm like WHAT THE FUCK!!! He came totally unannounced. His girlfriend kept appologizing they didn't call but thats ok. So after 30 minutes of ackwardness my Brother and Rob ended up playing xbox together..........Then we all sat in the other room and just bs'd and they left around 11:00. Mind you I didn't tell Rob about this vacation that my Dad is planning because I figured it wasn't worth it. It just wasn't going to work.
Sunday morning about 1hr after I woke up. Rob and I were talking, and then I mentioned the trip. Then the phone rings its my Mom. So I didn't answer I would just call her back. 5 minutes after she called Rob said he would join me in the Bahamas. It went very nicely. He didn't even hesitate with a NO. He said he would go. That shocked the shit out of me. I thought I would have to argue but NO that wasn't the case. I had told him we would be leaving early and he goes you can leave early i'm staying for a week. So I kept asking him do you want to stay for a week or do you want to Leave Thursday. He kept going your leaving Thursday. I'm like ok whatever. So A WEEK it is in the BAHAMAS with my little Baba (another one of Rob's nicknames).
So I call my mom back and she goes I don't want you to get upset, and don't get mad. I'm like what are you talking about. She goes on and I cut her off I said Mom we are all going on this vacation the 6 of us. She was like WHAT? She gets all excited. I'm like your son came by this house last night. She was floored. So I told her what had happend. So everyone is all HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the cutest boyfriend in the world. LOL. Well in my eyes I do. I just love him tons.....We might not be all gushy and all over each other outside of our house but thats ok. He's very effectionate inside and I love it.
I was trying so hard to get to sleep last night early. I had rolled over, and he rubs my back, and plays with my hair and started sining me lulahbyes. Yes I started laughing and he started laughing but it was sweet. He then stopped singing and kept playing with my hair. I was out like a light!!! I woke up at midnight because he went to get the dog, and then he fixed my pillow, tucked me in very tight, and gave me a kiss on my forehead. Then this morning I woke up to his face snuggled into the curve of my back...........
