Well you don't need me to tell you that muscle weighs more than fat for one thing!
As to fruit and veg... I HATE eating and mainly live on crap but I invested in a juicer so I could juice up the healthy stuff and get it down me.
My favourite recipe is a couple of apples and carrots (to sweeten the drink and make it palatable) with a few bits of broccoli, some cabbage and some cucumber thrown in. Sounds yuck but is actually really pleasant.

Co enzyme Q10 is supposed to be good for the metabolsim along with Milk Thistle to speed up liver function.
You may also be retaining some water, so maybe get a natural remedy diuretic?

I think you do WAY LOADS of exercise and at 60 odd kg at your height, you are far from overweight!

But if it helps any, I have found it increasingly more difficult to keep the weight off as I grow older.

Yeah logical me *knows* you are right. I am far from overweight. My BMI is around 22, which is fine, I guess I'm just struggling to accept that I am probably never going to get as slim as I was in 2005.

What, you mean when you were horribly stressed and on the verge of a nervous breakdown you mean? Well, if that's what you want... :-)

60kg... that's under 9 and a half stone! BMI of 22? Stop flogging yourself to death, FFS - or you'll be end up as the slimmest middle aged user of a walking frame in the sheltered housing unit! :-)

Jeez... I've eaten lunches bigger than you!

If you don't believe me, post some hi-rez

topl bikini pics and have the assembled denizens of Facebook play 'spot the allegedly flabby bit'...

By the way, a kilo fifference over a year... different scales, time of day, time of... that other thing that gurls get, weight of denim in jeans, clumpiness of boots, before lunch or after lunch, dehydrated or well hydrated... all those things are more likely to explain the difference than a sudden attack of hideous obesity...

Edit: Not forgetting muscle versus fat of course...
