Too tired, but must say this: Steven Moffatt, if time trains or people being junction/singularity points for the time steam show up in Doctor Who, I will definitely know that you are ripping off Kamen Rider Den-O. Between the bit about how memory sustains the time stream last series, and now the little girl whom I'm pretty sure is Rory and Amy's and whom the ImaginSilence want (and, yes, I know the actual monsters in question are nothing alike - unlike the Imagin, the Silence are wonderfully creepy)... yeah, I hope Toei never sees new!Who. That doesn't mean I don't like it, mind you - after all, I love Den-O. (g)
Also, yay for Chris "Nerdist" Hardwicke on the Doctor Who in America special, since I miss seeing him on a regular basis since I don't get G4 anymore. That said, I really love (not) how the promotion for the new series at times forgets what's been done before. Yes, I know the Eighth Doctor TV movie has major issues, but it did film in America (and Canada), and even aired on a major network (Fox), unlike new!Who. That was a big deal - back in the 1990s. The new series filming here - not so much, because it has already been done. Yes, I know I'm odd, but while I understand pimping the new series, when you have a series which such a history like Doctor Who, even a throwaway line acknowledging stuff that like is a good thing. They did admit that we're on the Eleventh Doctor in the special, after all. Saying something like "we tried this once before, and it didn't work, but now we're coming back and doing it right and kicking ass" would have been a nice touch.
