Why Do I Keep Forgetting to Title Posts????
Wasn't going to log in before bed, since I do have to work tomorrow, and I've been tired as heck as usual from work all week (I did pretty much nothing until about an hour ago all day except for sleep, watch the latest My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and the first seven episodes of the original Kamen Rider, and eat), but then nerefir posted a link over on HJU that I had to comment on, so... (bad fangirl is bad fangirl (g))
Anyway, about an hour ago, we had a FUUUUUUUUUU... moment - Mom realized that the soaked carpet in the hallway wasn't wet due to the usual reason (our ancient dog dealing with having to be on water pills), but rather due to a leak in the closet with the AC and the water heater. Last time (not long after we moved) it was the AC, but this time it is definitely the water heater, as Mom felt where it was leaking from the very bottom of the tank. It probably will have to be replaced, as it is old (and doesn't even have a pan underneath it in case of leaks (rolls eyes)). Thankfully, we have a home warranty through almost the end of May, so we're covered, and probably just have to pay the $60 service charge. Also thankfully, the home warranty service lets us put in service requests 24/7, and I had made sure that we're set up to be able to log in to their website and get the info we need easily, so the request is in. Also thankfully again, the contractor they assigned the request to is also open 24/7, so while we don't expect to hear from them tonight (Friday), we should have them over tomorrow.
Unrelated: thank you, work, for listening to my purchase requests for more classic Doctor Who, as we got in (and I thus got on hold) The Three Doctors and Silver Nemesis this past week (and we got in the 8th Doctor movie shortly after it came out in the US). Now, could you have waited until I had finished rewatching Magiranger (I blame Gokaiger for that - Magi is my first Sentai love, and the Magi episode in Gokai was good, AND Kai's hair was a MUCH improved version of the Magi finale hair, AND Kai/Atsushi has grown up VERY nicely. Granted, I probably don't need much of an excuse to drool over Hiroya in those Pants again.), so I don't have to decide to watch at lunch? (Silver Nemesis won, BTW, since I will have to return that, and Sylv is still my favorite Doctor.) Now, if we get in The Two Doctors, they'll have gotten in all of the ones I requested, and we'll have at least one episode/serial with every Doctor (we have no Colin ones at all). (Edit the next morning after I checked my work email, and got hold pickup notices there: we got in The Two Doctors as well, as my hold for it is available for me to pickup today at work, along with Tron on Blu-Ray, which makes me glad I didn't watch Tron:Legacy on Blu-Ray (which Mom had thoughtfully put on hold first) yesterday - now I can marathon both. (g))
