fergie: a role model to all

so, what's new in emily's pop culture world, you ask? well. i can't get the song fergalicious out of my head. it is just so catchy. plus i think it sends a good message. more than one good message actually...

good message number one: "it is okay to flirt, but let's not be loose"
while she may come off just a little bit conceited cauz she keeps on repeatin' how the boys just want to eat it (ew), she's not tryin to take your man! she ain't promiscuous, and if you was suspicious, all that shit is fictitious!

this teaches us a) not to be jealous and b) not to talk smack and spread rumors! i think i know a certain roommate who could benefit from the teachings of point b. (LINDSAY)

good message number two: "if you want something, you gotta put in hard work"
her body stays vicious cauz she's up in that gym, just working on her fitness (he's her witness!)

see!?! she may seem sketchy and obnoxious but really she's a person we should all model ourselves after. the main theme of this song is working hard to get what you want! she wants attention from unavailable men so she works out in the gym all the time. she must be a republican. also, this promotes a good cardiovascular system.

my only issue with this song is that they keep spelling tasty wrong. and I quote from memory "T to the A to S-T-E-Y, girl you tasty..." see? is this some inside joke i don't get? either way i think it's hilarious. keep up the good work fergie!!!! PEACE
