Oh man.  The Sopranos... what can I say?

I thought the "ending" was great.  So it didn't "tie up the loose ends", but that's life, right?  The music, the acting, the violence, the messed-up family relating, it all came to a head last night.  Amazing.  I could watch that episode over and over.  There are so many comments and theories going around on the net!  Many people think that the diner scene was in the afterlife.  Some think the whole episode took place after Tony was dead.  Some people think the last part of this season had each episode representing a circle of hell from Dante's Inferno.  Whatever it was, it was freakin awesome!

Alot of people were really pissed off that it didn't have a big ending.  I think that they forget that more than anything the show is about disfunctional family relating.  I think this episode gave us a ton of that.  Man, I just want to watch it again and again.

You know, I was up most of the night last night reading what other people wrote about it and just thinking about it in genral.  I have to watch them all again now.  I need to empty out some space in my NetFlix queue to add all those DVDs.  Knowing the end is going to make it that much better, and it'll be fun to test out some of the theories that are floating around out there too.  I can't believe it is over.  I can't believe that ending.  I can't believe they used that song, and now it runs through my head constantly!  WOW.

I've got people telling me to watch The Wire now, but I don't feel like I could jump into another drama.  It would feel dirty.  I'm not a tv whore!  No, I just want to watch the entire stretch of The Sopranos one more time... then I can call it quits.  Maybe.

One thing you should not watch is Ocean's 13.  I cannot understand why this is getting so many good reviews.  It is mildly entertaining, but it is definitely not something to throw $10-12 at.  The plot is mediocre, the pacing is way slower than the previous films, and guys are just not that funny.  Easy on the eyes, sure, but what happened to the snappy lines?  Whatever.  Next week -->  Fantastic 4: Silver Surfer or Nancy Drew?  Doesn't sound like much of a choice, does it?  Well, at least they're free.

tv, movies!
