Happy Solstice to everyone! My longest night of the year was rather uneventful, sadly. Didn't even light a fire (i'm not counting the heater in the shop). Today, though, i'm trying to clean and renew in my house, but it's not going as gungho as i'd hoped because i'm hungry and sore (from jumping off the refrigerator onto the floor). I'm

Lex and I bought a gift for each other (I wonder why we don't just say, "Look, I'm taking $100 to buy myself a gift; why don't you do the same?"), but that's it. We're not really "doing" Christmas this year. We're going to Lex's mom's for brunch and to watch the nieces tear through their gifts like the little materialist whorelets that they are, but other than that, no real plans.

Sounds like you are getting your head right. This is a good thing. Keep the even keel thing going. *hugs*

Well...... there have been developments; but i'm still trying to stay on that path. It's somewhat harder knowing what i know; but i keep telling myself the timing is not right now and to keep the salt shaker handy.
