Rachael felt the grin twist her face. It felt familiar to her but not like her own demure smile. No this felt evil. She looked down at her best friend Monica lying on the bed. A brief flash flared across her vision. Her arm moved to the girl on the bed. A light stroke on her hair, a single finger over her cheek, and her palm cupping the line from her ear to hollow of throat and her thumb just under the chin until she could begin to apply the pressure. Baring her weight down while adding her other hand.
The grin continued to twist her face as the girl began to struggle. Over powering joy filled her as Monica tried to pry loose the hands around her throat. Horror filled Monica’s eye as she watched her best friend grin while keeping her from drawing a breath.
Everything was tainted by the joy and lust Rachael felt. She wanted more! Her fingers dug into the throat. The nails she perfectly manicured for the trip pressed through the skin little by little. Monica’s struggles lessened too soon for Rachael. She released enough pressure to renew the struggling girl’s efforts. Yes, this is what Rachael wanted, someone to struggle against her. She wanted to feel that resistance until the very end as they fought to live. She wanted to see that last bit of hope fade from their eyes.
Rachael woke in the hospital screaming about how she was possessed that night.
