Gooden Confused!

Well no, not like that contray to whatever potential rumors there may or may have ever been.... : )

Well had an excellent Bank Holiday weekend which officially started on Thursday evening after a haul upto Chester. That in itself a trip wasn't actually to bad either.

Thurs was spent pottering about the place and getting used to having a wander without my usual tour guide, he. Had a nose in some fab shops and was overall pretty good.
Sat involved more pottering about and a really nice meal in a very very nice resturant overlooking the River Dee banks from the far side, it was a contemporary glass house conversion. Best bit about the whole thing was that it was paid for!
http://www.redhousechester.co.uk/ is the link, fantastic place to watch a sunset from! Also appear to do Cream Teas... hmmm
Oh yeah I've discovered a love for Pannacotta, why the hell someone hasn't pointed this out to me before hand is just wrong and all you people that should have known better out there for shame!  : )

Sun went to the http://www.wirralfoodfestival.co.uk/ for a day out and also for SB's Grandads Bday. We ended up sitting down for a rest and to watch a kitchen demonstration for the new Liverpool National dish from a top leading resturant and he got to eat the dish! There might have been some rouge quality testing in there as well...
Found something intresting though as an ingredient that I would like to try at some point Sandfire (Sea Asparagas) fantastic stuff, really realyl salty! : )
Rest of the day was spent lazing, drinking and er entertaining a 1 1/2 year old. All good.
Monday say mostly chilling and a few drinks down in t pub. And most confusing of all of the trip was that the train back (went a slightly different route via Shefflield) was absolutly fine, flawless, on time, seat on each train... I was shocked. Best of all I realised that I had an old Card that hadn't been used so I am a open return ticket up - Superb
Final note on it all - it was mostly sunny, all weekend, I have a tan!

I'll stop writing there on the note that I am back in work, and after all the yay good, its not worth ruining it on paper!
Hope all had a good bank hol, and remember, its only a short week! ....
