Fan Report : KAT-TUN World Big Tour @ Kyocera Dome 22/8/2010

Seats - Upper Tier, Gate 4 Stands, Row 4 Seats 287 & 288
Note : I was really excited,close to hyperventilating, everything seemed so surreal, I only started taking notes after Gold, I definitely have missed out on some details or even the songs itself. This is a report with quite a lot of possible errors due to my excitement. To fellow fans that did go to the concert that day, if there are any errors or parts that were left out, please let me know! Also, I’m not completely fluent in Japanese so what I’ve interpreted from the ment part might be wrong.
At the end of the report, it’s purely my own personal feelings and if my thoughts offended any of you, I apologize.

Note - I kinda messed up the song order from Real Face to D Motion. Was too excited, everything feels so surreal. I’m in the Dome after all. For most of the songs, Ueda sang Jin’s part except for Lips where Koki covered Jin’s line.

Parts that I remember in detail
NMP
Clock ticked 3 and off the lights went. Music started but the boys were kinda out of sight. After a few verses they came down from above via platform. But OMGGGGGG, Koki is so damn good looking! This is perhaps one of the best hair style he has ever sported. There was a Junda moment and a Kokame moment if I’m not mistaken. Kame was sporting a pair of aviator glasses.
Love Yourself
If I’m not mistaken, they changed the rap part and it sounded so damn awesome! <3 it to bits!
D Motion
Was amazing too! I kinda like the way how Kame sings “I wanna feel like” LOL
Kame’s drum solo
Right, I don’t really like how Kame’s hair has grown in a way but eeeps, he took off his shirt and I was like “ baawwwwwww”. Seriously his expression while he was playing is the sex. /fangirls, /faints. Loved the way how the whole audience lead him on with “oi” even though he probably would have expected that. Kyyyyyaaaaaaaa.
Koki’s solo - Make U Wet 2
OMG, the lyrics /faints. I swear I was blushing lmao. But gee, I could barely watch him dance w/o my head going wild. KoKame is out to get me with their hotness looooool! When he zipped his pants. Ack. Mind was going wild. My mum was beside me but there was no response from her so I’d like to take it as something good.
Junno’s Solo - Love Music
He came out, with Koki on him as he went on all fours. It was hilarious. I was literally laughing @ Junno’s expression. Koki said something, couldn’t remember what but it ended with Junno complaining about how mean Koki was.
Stunt Break ( Whatever you like to call it) - Note, it’s kinda messed up. I don’t remember the sequence anymore.
Koki appeared on the left hand side of the stage, on a platform (?) It’s on the upper part of the stage with his hair styled the Hissatsugonin way. He looked kinda funny lmao. He played the traditional drum and I think there was a tad of fireworks. Then Ueda came out flying, while dropping down a gold banner on the way. Why on earth is he so pretty?! Maru & Junno were spinning on a piece of metal with umbrellas on it. Halfway through spinning, they linked their hands together and legs too if I’m not mistaken. Kame came out doing flips on a flying uchiwa.
Maru’s solo - Understandable ___________, Film
After the stunt break, it was off to Maru’s solo. I think it was a change from their previous songlists if I’m not mistaken. The members back danced for him for a bit, and later on at the second song if I’m not mistaken, he was left to sing alone. Maru performed reeeeeallly well last night! He sounded awesomeeeee!!! <3
Rescue
Fire. I was all the way on the upper tier and I could feel the heat, let alone them. This performance is worth my commenting! It was really really really awesome! Kame kinda struggled a tiny bit at the end but all is well.
Lips
Kame went “muack” and I went “ack” /zaps /faints hahahha! Maru and Junno came over to our side on the rising platform but it was Junno who was facing us most of the time. He was waving happily and the audience gladly responded to his wave.
Love’s Command

Word’s cannot explain how cute Koki was. He was standing by our side, I seriously wished I had a lower tier seat. He grabbed the camera and was literally shoving his face into it while singing the first part looking sexy yet adorable! I really like his current hairstyle!
Gold
Technical problems were present during the first few bits. The monitor showed Junno singing but there wasn’t any audio, at least not until a few seconds after. Halfway through, Koki’s grabs a baby and carried him, but little baby didn’t like Koki as he cried.
Ment
Junno & Maru were being bullied by KoKame. They mentioned about the concert ending at Osaka instead of Tokyo, which was quite special as this is the first time their tour ended at Osaka. I think it was Kame who mentioned that the crew was there and there would be a dvd! I’m sooo excited! Am so getting the dvd! He also mentioned something that I couldn’t get but I do remember him saying that the dvd was gonna come with bonuses from the tour, which is superrrrr cool! Kame also described how his ring fell (?) He looked really cute! Ah, they also mentioned about their late dinner on the 21st, how they ate together but then Koki(?) or was it Junno who then invited the members to come along and eat at the locker. Something about Koki going to shower at 12 too. Kisumai was mentioned then not too long later, they came out for ment, and there was something about one of the kisumai guy’s actions when he bumped into Kame (?) at a corner in the hotel. And I think there was a Kameda(?) moment where Kame passed Ueda his bottle.
Kisumai’s perf - a new song + Fire Beat feat KAT-TUN
I never was interested in Kisumai to be honest. However, their new song did sound quite nice. KAT-TUN performed with them . There were some KoKame moments as they sang with the Kisumai guys. Our boys went back to the backstage after the first chorus.
Bokura No Machi De (Acoustic Version)
Maru came out with glasses, he looked cute :D
One word is all you need - Amazing. I never expected it to sound this good after listening to an audio that was recorded at TD.
Faraway, Right Now, Hello
These songs sounded really amazing live. A thrillion times better than the CD!
One On One
This is one of the freaking amazing live that night that I can’t get out of my head. The song has been replaying itself like mad ever since I got back from the concert! I need the dvd so I can rip the mp3!!!!!!
Ueda’s solo - Rabbit or Wolf
He came out in a white tee and a black pants(?) + sunglasses. Looked very rock star-ish but still, why is he so pretty? L I liked the live better than the cd!
Kame’s solo - Sweet & Lost My Way
Started off with sweet. Kame wore a white tee underneath topped with a black jacket with colourful skulls on it. Then halfway through he was being chased by the juniors, bitten and became a vampire. Performance switched from time to time between Sweet and Lost My Way. Song ended with Lost My Way though.
Maru’s clinic
Kame was being really cute. At first he went “Kame kame kamenashi”, kept repeating his own name. Did a lot of “aegyo” in that part. One of the cutest parts was went he went, “Itai, mecha itai!” , “uso!” but oh my god, Maru’s beatboxing was way more than just amazing. It was fantastic, amazing, fabulous! He really has improved a lot! Everyone was wowed by his performance. Truly amazing <3
Going
I was kinda okay with the song, but after listening to the live, I love it! It was a really energetic performance! Ueda had his hair up which looked really cute!
Yorokobi No Uta & Wilds of My Heart
I think it was during Yorokobi No Uta or maybe I messed it up, it could be at the ment part. Kame mentioned “suki desu ka” and koki was like, “why did you say suki?!” I think koki meant he should say aishiteru instead. During Kame’s “kikoenai” part in Wilds of My heart, as usual he pulled the mic away from him and didn’t sing with a facial expression that looked sexy lol
Promise Song
Hmm, I didn’t know whether any of the members cried but I think Junno does look like he was on the verge of crying. Koki too. Nevertheless, it was damn amazing. Tears were welling in my eyes, I managed to refrain my tears from falling but most of the people around me did tear up.
Encore Part
NMP on horses, they were wearing black and white suits, Ueda was sporting a fedora. Gee, prince on horses XD
Smile - asked audience to sing the lalalala part, arena & stands, with Koki (?) asking the audience to be louder. Junno’s adlib was love too! Kame gave us 120 points at the end of the song :D
Encore 2
After smile when they went back in, Maru was like, this is seriously the last time! Audience was asking for another encore, they came out and sang Going again. After that song, Koki was asking us whether we want another one. Everyone shouted for another one and we got harukana yakusoku. I was seriously cheering so loud in my mind as I love that song so much. It was really touching, well to me, when Kame requested that all fans join hands and say “we’re kat-tun”. It’s like, people who were present seemed to be fans who would stick by them regardless of them being six or five.

My opinions on the whole concert
To be honest, after I listened to one of the complete concert audiocams forTD, I wasn’t really expecting much, I mean some of the songs did sound great but it wasn’t much, most likely due to the quality of the recording. I came all the way to Japan, not expecting much, just going with the flow. Heck I only got excited only when I was at Kyocera Dome itself. As we waited for the dome to filled up, I silently prayed for a good performance so that my mum won’t be moaning about how much they suck. The moment the music started, I was truly impressed. It was a truly a musical enjoyment. I came in not expecting much, but I was completely blown away. They were fine, they did so well without Jin, they were better off without him. Even my mum was very impressed. After the concert, she kept complimenting on how well they sang and performed. She even asked me for their cd so she can listen to it in the car!
Vocal wise, all of them did really well especially for Ueda & Maru. Kame and Koki sounded good as usual, Junno too! Side note, I’m pretty sure Koki took off his shirt sometime during the concert, just can’t remember when.
All in all, I’m a proud fan :D Definitely saving for next year so I can go to their tour at Osaka again! Well, even my mum who’s a non fan was so impressed! :D
Ugh, as I’m finishing off this fan report, I seriously still can’t believe that I went to their concert! Truly truly truly more than amazing, no words can describe how well they performed last night. In the meantime before their next concert, I shall patiently wait for the release of the dvd :)
