Easter
So this past weekend had to be one of the most fun weekends I have had at home in a loooong time. I came home Friday, and I drove with Hali to Abilene, then my mom picked me up from there. I didn't really do much Friday afternoon, but then Anthony called and invited me to go to the moview with a bunch of ppl. So I went and saw the Girl Next Door with Anthony, Brett, and company. Anthony leaves for the Army this upcoming Wednesday. After the movies, we went to Anthony's girlfriend's house and hung out there. It was pretty boring bc we really didn't do anything... Oh well!
Saturday I slept until like noon, maybe longer. I mosied around the house until Shari called and was like get ready we are going to the Tim McGraw Concert for your birthday and we are leaving at four. I paniced. I did not bring anything to go out in. I brought my easter outfit, and then Tshirts and jeans. So I made Jessalyn take me to the store to buy a new shirt and jewlrey. I got the cutest stuff. Then I had to hurry and get ready. When I got to Shari's house, we HAD to take pictures, bc we always do and we are corny like that, but anyhoo... then we left and headed down to Auditorium Shores. It was cold and rainy. Not exactly a good day to have an outside concert. We end up getting there a little early and drinking a little before heading down to the stage. We finally get there around 4:45, and it is raining, not too heavy, but it was still cold. So we tried to get as close as possible to see the stage. Well the concert was suppose to start at 5pm, but didn't start until almost 8pm because of the bad weather. UGH!!! I would've been pissed if they cancelled it, but they didnt so it was all good. Anyhoo. The line up was supps to be Billy Bob Thorton and Company, Cory Morrow, Jack Ingram, and Tim McGraw and company. Well they cut Cory Morrow and Jack Ingram. Sooo Billy Bob came on first. At first we were all like hmmm okay lets get on with the show, and put Tim on. But then Dusty Hill from ZZTop came on and then Alice Cooper came to sing. After they sang for awhile, Tim came on. Tim sang his best songs and I got the best pics of him, and then Faith Hill came on. And it was the cutest thing because when Tim was introducing Faith he was like "I brought a special guest with me and she happens to be the most beautiful women in the world." It was soo cute. And Shari over here almost fainted bc we were so close and of course everyone knows she is in LOVE with Tim. We finally out of the concert close to midnight, then we went to IHOP to eat bc we were HUNGRY! Oh ya we did meet some guys from Texas State and they were incredibly nice.
Sunday it was sooo hard for me to wake up. Of course I had the whole crew on me screaming that the Easter Bunny had came and it was tiem to open our baskets. So we did that at nine, and then ate. We headed to church at noon. After church, I decided to go for a 3 mile run. VERY FUN!
Today I woke up at 7:45AM to go to an Interview and take drugtests, then I came back up to lubbock. Its great fun, I'm glad to be back, but I also can't wait to go back home. Well I'm tired, so I'm going to jet... TTFN
