Not to mention...of course Kurt hasn't gotten everything he wanted in life. That's the way life goes. But he has the things that count. We've seen what happens to people who get what they want in highschool. The April Rhodes' of the world wind up latching on to some guy hoping for their big break. The Bryan Ryans, meanwhile, go in the closet and never come out. The person who has the most achievement in this world (Sue) has a lot of awards on her shelf, but not much else to show for it. Kurt, though, has a dad who freaking goes to Washington to make his kid's life better. He's got friends who stick up for him. He's got Blaine who loves him, a sort-of family in Finn and Carole, and at the end of the day, what's Britt able to do with the presidency despite the fact that she's in a relationship with a girl? She uses it to become a prom bully. Kurt didn't get into NYADA his first go? Well, neither did Carmen Thibedeaux, who apparently auditioned for Julliard four times. I mean, what it boils down to is that Kurt hasn't gotten his happy ending yet because it's NOT THE ENDING.

And that's what people seem to forget.

I just wish fans would keep their wishes for the show in fanfic and put up and shut up. I've never been a part of a fandom that's so damn entitled and it makes my head hurt.

Yes, all of this is true. Also, Kurt getting everything he wants doesn't give him storylines. Rachel getting what she wants gives her storylines, because what she wants is rarely what she actually needs. Like you said, Kurt getting what he wants would be the ending.

Actually, the only couple on this show that is happy and has most of what they want is Burt/Carole. And both of them have lost a spouse. And we HARDLY see them.

Yup, that's what fanfic is for.

Although Tina doesn't really get what she wants, for the most part, she acknowledges that it's her own fault, and she and Mike are pretty happy, but they're BACKGROUND.

See what happens when both parts of a couple are happy? They're backgrounded! So fandom, do you want more Kurt moments? Then I'm sorry, he's just going to have to lose some more.

I don't think Tina was ever supposed to be a central character. Although, I do think she should have been more of one than she has been. And yes, she and Mike as a couple are happy, and because they are happy and not drama-laden, there's no need to focus on them. People don't need to see fluff.

Yup, if we want Kurt we have to see him lose. If we want Klaine, we're going to have to see drama. That's how this show works. Comedy moments of this show are kind of limited.
