Thanks for all your nice supportive comments before. Installing makes you feel good.
Today we installed and finally broke through that horrible feeling of everything waiting to be done, and got Xaviera's work up - 42 prints mounted on board, hung in a 7 x 6 grid which sounds easy but was actually hair-tugging nightmare just because if one print is a millimetre out of place, which is a statistical likelihood, the rest looks awful, and multiply that across 42 prints and it's just insane. Anyway after two nights of painstaking measuring and grid-drawing and planning and putting tiny 'x's on the wall and cross-checking everything with spirit level, we eventually said fuck this, and hung the whole thing by eye. It looks great.
And suddenly all the other work is HERE which is a good thing as its absence was the major factor in not being able to install it.
