the furminator!!
Today I got out the furminator!!! The deadly device either loved or hated by animals.....My cat has yet to make up his mind, however, we both lived through being 'furminated'.
The furminator is a handly device my neighbor purchased last year for her cats....I had to have one! It is pricey as far as I am concerned.....keeping in mind that the extra $35. will usually go with me to las Vegas
rather than spend it on cat toys, (that he walks away from). Anyhow.......I saw it in action...next door, and it is wonderful. How it gets the hair off and how it gets SO MUCH of the hair off is beyond me....kind of like a computer or an I-phone works, but it does work. I mean, one would think it would scrape the hair and skin right off, but it doesn't. It selectively takes the undercoat of hair off, and outer coat too, with each pass.
It removes so much that one needs to suit up....or go outside and do it......there is hair and hair and more hair. My cat is not naked......although one would think so with all the fur floating around the neighborhood....(just kidding) (no I'm not) (yes I am)...... I gave him many 'treat-treats' after the 'ordeal' and all is well. He only put his teethon me once or twice to get the point across that '''enough was about getting to be enough!''' I think if one had used it on my head of hair, I would have been up for some kind of felony....so I guess it is just for pets.
I endorse the furminator......for long and short haired pets.....it really does work. However, be sure and have the 'treat-treats' handy for him and a glass of something for you, when it's over.
