graduation // moved out // summer session I // car

I had my graduation last Saturday, but I haven't really been around to write about it.

They allowed us to keep the caps of our rental gowns--I imagine because people throw their caps up in the air at the end and sometimes just can't find their caps again.

My graduation started in the morning, and my parents, Elizabeth, and Susie attended to see us! Ron and I sat together the whole time, and we even took graduation photos together. The woman who took our photos were like "Do you guys know each other?" And we nodded our head in unison, and she allowed us to take photographs together.

My sister didn't show up. That's because her graduation is on the same exact day as mine.

So what ended up happening is while all the other graduates went to go spend time with their friends or family, my parents left with my brother to hurry their butts up to Hayward, where CSU East Bay is. They got there half an hour late, or something like that, but they were able to make it to my sister's graduation.

I spent most of the time after that with Ron's boyfriend, Kenny. He made us some lunch, and we watched a bit of TV. Ron was stolen away by his 23425254 family members, and they had a reservation in San Francisco, so they left pretty quickly after the graduation.

Then Kenny had to leave, so I spent the rest of my time online playing games.

When I moved out, there were three people who lived in my apartment. You see, the first six people (including me) had one girl moved out, because she was upset that none of us agreed to have me clean the living and kitchen areas-- all of the people in the house said that I never used those areas and I shouldn't have to clean them. I agreed.

Then the two guys moved out, for what reason, I have no idea. But then a guy moved in, so it ended up with just three of us.

The problem was that none of them did cleaning up of the living room and kitchen. I told my dad about it, and he was like "nah, don't worry about it, let them charge us. It's like at most 30 dollars." This is true. So I tried to stop worrying about it.

And now I'm at home, in Fremont.

While I attended the graduation ceremony and walked, I don't quite have my diploma just yet. I have one more class in the summer, and I am taking Lithography. The classes are on Tuesday and Wednesday, but last pretty much like a full 9-5 work shift. And it literally is 9AM to 5AM. Elizabeth has her shift on Wednesdays, so I have decided if things work out, I could just stay at the studio all Wednesday and finish it so I do not require another day to go to studio.

During Summer Session I, I will commute to school for the first week, because Elizabeth, Ron, and Susie are allowing me to stay at their house for a month. They get the place on July 1st, so until then, I have to commute.

Once this class is done, I will definitely have a diploma. :)

My parents want to buy me a car. I asked if I could have a hybrid, but they said it's too expensive. My impression was that the hybrid was lowered to almost the cost of a car that I could buy (Civic, maybe?)... hm, but what kind of car should I get? It has to be reliable, and somewhat cheap.

They said they got my sister a car since high school, and the reason why I haven't gotten a car is because I've been living on campus. That's okay, though. I guess I could have a car now. My sister has had two cars, she is her second one now.

Those of you who have commission with me need to wait just a little longer~ still in the process of moving things, but I will get to them as soon as I am able.

Also, thanks to everyone who bought a print of mine!

I hope the rest of you are having a good day.
