It's kind of cold in here!
Right now I'm at the Network Center... and the A/C is just up toooo high. I am freezing! Why did I leave the jacket in the car? It's now 17 stories below me!
Since coming back to my trip, I found out that Jark of deviantART got fired from his position as admin. While I don't care much for dA anymore, I am sympathetic to the fact that he and Matt co-founded the website and neither of them run it anymore. From what I read, he got fired because he demanded some changes around in deviantART, and then got a phone call that he was terminated from his position. He logged back into deviantART, and lo and behold, he is a deviant, and not admin. I can imagine how upset he could have been during the first few minutes. He was still telling everyone to be civil, while the other admin (who is getting all the credit for creating dA, when he didn't co-found or help until 2 years of dA into existance) is probably happy that he won the long battle of ninja vs. yellow alien. Hmm. deviantART went crazy, and now it's no longer a deviant green; it's turning yellow. Many, many staff members have resigned from their positions as protest. August 7th was dA's 5th birthday.
In other news, since I'm at the Network Center, they're having a meeting which means I get to surf the web for the time being. I'll soon be unplugging servers! Oh boy!!
It's only been a few days, but I sure do miss Vancouver! Or maybe it's the people more... The weather is much nicer there than here.
Tim Horton's used to be Canada only, but it has been moving to the U.S. and has about 250 stores here already.
I supposedly look skinnier, but I haven't lost any weight! What is going on?
I played a very old Namco game, Valkyrie no Densetsu. It's so cute and fun! She even makes this noise when she gets hurt! But anyway, it's incredibly difficult, and I doubt I could beat the game at the real arcade unless I had a bazillion quarters. Speaking of quarters, I stuck a Canadian quarter into three different soda/snack machines, and one of them took it! Awesome!
Tonight, I'll be scanning in my travel sketchbook, but I'm unsure on when I will post it. There are still things I want to post, like the beach photos (that I never got from Susie), pictures of my art from last quarter... and now photos from Canada. Oh man. I WILL get around to it.
WAUGH, need to finish drawing one picture soon. And I shall leave you with this picture.
