Back in Chicago, somewhat half-way moved into the townhouse, able to take a shower (clean enough now), able to walk around barefoot upstairs (also clean enough now), thoroughly disgusted by the mountains of filth that we have encountered and removed over the last 3 days, able to cook (thank you K, we will love you for ever and ever for providing us with pots (and for other reasons, of course. Also thank your lovely wonderful incredible grandmother!) And when they say "it's like learning to ride a bike," they're not kidding. Despite several bike-less years, I am back to riding happily, enjoying the wind blowing in my face. And we can make it to campus on bikes in only 1 minute longer than it took us to walk to the Reg last year - wheee, bikes are wonderful things.
Now we just need internet at home, and then it's all good. Oh, and those leftover boxes in my room should disappear. And 2 more roommates/3 more, most important of all, of course.
Alright. Time to head home, don't want to use up all my Reg-tolerance before classes have even begun...
