Alright, so I have failed at keeping my resolution to update here more frequently. I would make a resolution to do so in the future, but I have already made one long-term, time-consuming resolution today, and in an effort not to overwhelm myself I'll leave it at that. As part of that earlier resolution, I did apologize to someone, finally, after two long years of cowardly silence. I don't know how it ought to feel to have finally said what I needed to say...really, it is just unfamiliar and scary, because I don't yet have a response, as this particular apology had to be e-mail based, as that is the only to-me-known form of contact for this person.
Off to dinner after a long day of house-painting. Food, thank god. Then a movie with my last remaining best friend at home, as I said goodbye to the other one today. Also a weird feeling, we are embarking upon part 2 of this particular journey. The summer went to fast, now that it is almost over.
