Pop Rocks
Today I had not one but TWO musical coincidences. This morning when I was in the shower, for some reason I started singing the lyrics to Cliff Richard's "Devil Woman" over and over again. I finished getting ready, and got into my car to go to work. What song is playing when I turn on the radio? Devil Woman!!
Coincidence 2: Still on the same radio station, a Doobie Brothers song came on, with Michael Macdonald. I know him from Steely Dan, where he sang backup on one of the Dan's better known songs, "Peg", among others. When I got to work, once I was sick of doing ACTUAL work (about 20 minutes in), I wikipedia'd Steely Dan to find out when Macdonald sang with them. Then I had to talk to one of the straggler students still working in the shop, and as I walked in, a hip hop song was playing... that was sampling "Peg"!
