Outside, in the morning sun, Jor-El is flying. Most of the time,of late, he has been studying Earth science and conducting tests of these strange abilities he has developed. But even he cant resist the siren call of flight and wind and sun all the time. So, off he has gone, high up over Milliways, enjoying the sun and air.

Sam's in the bar again. There is a laptop and papers scattered in front of her. She's takes turns typing and scribbling notes. Every once in awhile she looks up but apparently not seeing who she's looking for she goes back to her laptop.
Suffice to say she's no longer humming. But at least this is the Sam we're used to.
Jor-El is standing, well, floating, upside down, outside. He has a pile of small objects that he is staring at, each individually. In his ongoing quest to understand his powers, he has been testing them, one by one

Jor-El is pacing... on the ceiling. garbed, still, in traditional Kryptonian clothing, he walks back and forth on the underside of the rafters, pondering Piper's actions and the dillemma faced by parents and... mostly being frustrated.
And Mary Anne's back on the couch. A few more bruises from her fight with Martin decided to make themselves known; that plus last night's meeting of the minds with Namo didn't exactly equal a terrific night's sleep.
She is again using her book to keep the light out of her eyes. Not like she hasn't read it before.
