[OOC: So painfully late, but Clem does need a bit of a mother figure, no?]
Clementine's actually contemplating a large, lovely ring that she's been give. Between that and the pearls and the bracelet Sam gave her, she looks like she's robbed the mint, yet she looks surprisingly contemplative when she notices Demeter. Then she rips a large chunk from the heavy wheaten bread she'd been slicing up and places it upon a plate, sliding it over.
"Here," she says, passing over a solid crust of bread, "I owe you this from the spring." A good deed for Jones.
She nods. "But I'm wondering what I'd have to do if I had to choose between them." Clementine studies the jug of apple scumble Moist brought her and abandons her beer in favor of uncorking it. "Y'know, I've always wanted to have someone fight for me. I didn't think I'd end up dealing with a possible World War III."
She shrugs. "He's probably got other girls in Miami - someone paying his bills. i can't afford them." She holds out her wrist so Demeter can see her bracelet. "But he gave me this. I WANTED this - I wanted it to mean something more than 'here, doll, have a bracelet for a blowjob'."
