William wants to like the new schoolteacher, he really does but she seems determined to give them more work and find ways for everyone to educate themselves. Its clear she means well but he's getting tired of her sighs when he tries to explain that while at one point he might have thought of more schooling for now that's for Mark. The worst of it is he knows she's talked to his mother, because now she's making sure both boys are getting to school more.
What they're doing is a little more interesting, she's been teaching about what's going on with the government as she's originally from outside Washington, DC, but he doesn't like being lectured by someone who's not that much older than him about something that's not going to happen. Then there's the way he met up with
Bill Pardy at his proper age and he didn't remember anything and William would really like to hide from the world.
Since he can't get away with doing that too much, he's giving the stables a good cleaning and making sure all the stalls are the way they should be. Later he'll come inside and read by the fire but for now, it feels nice to just fix the simple things instead of the look of disappoint in his mother's eyes.
(OOC: Catch him around the stables or inside the Bar.)
