(OOM: The world changes.There was so much to be done but it was agreed that a small rest would make sense. Not a full night's sleep but some time in a proper bed. Sam's leg was hurting again as he opened the door to his room in the Abhorsen's House and found Milliways staring back at him

Teja comes in from the back, with his guitar and two cats.

He sits by the fire, then realises that the young man in the colourful surcoat is...

"Sameth?"

He looks up at Teja and says quietly, "I found a door."

[ostro_goth]

"I noticed you were gone," Teja says. "And now you are back -- so you must have, coming and going. Have you come from the court?"

He nods at the surcoat. It looks formal.

[makesthings]

"No, from the Abhorsen's House. A lot has happened since I left and more after that. I have to help save the Old Kingdom and I'm now Wallmaker,"

Its formal and feels far too new. Sam's used to either his royal surcoat or the one he got for his birthday, he's worn those. He doesn't know who he should be as he wears this one.

"A wallmaker?" Teja asks. "It is not a plain mason, I take it?"

[makesthings]

"No, its the name of another bloodline but I don't really know what it means I"m meant to do."

[ostro_goth]

"Make things," Teja says, "one assumes, as is your nature. Would that mean that no longer you need to become Abhorsen, if you do this instead?"

[makesthings]

"Lirael will be Abhorsen instead of me but we still need to save the Old Kingdom,"

He knows he should be happy, this is right for him but it doesn't feel quite real.

"Who is Lirael?" Teja asks. "You never mentioned him before."

[makesthings]

"Her, I only met her since I've been traveling. She's apparently my aunt and Abhorsen-in-Waiting. Sorry, so much has happened and I don't know where to start."

[ostro_goth]

"It ever escapes you how to start, when describing things," Teja says, amused. "But I am glad to see you again, so take your time."

[makesthings]

"Because it feels like everything happens at once."

[ostro_goth]

"That is the nature of life," Teja says. "After things happen, we then make sense, and tell a story of it."

[makesthings]

"I'm not sure where to start with making sense of all the changes."

[ostro_goth]

"How did you find out that you are a wall-naker?" Teja asks, as they must start somewhere.

[makesthings]

"When the Sendings gave me the surcoat and then Mogget explained that I was. We're at the Abhorsen's House after escaping from Chlorr."
