He settles himself down into the seat across from her.

"I like it."

"Good.

"Because I'll probably wind up wrapping your present in it, too.

"Hello, James."

"Hello, Lily."

James leans over to kiss her.

"And I don't suppose I get any hints as to what I'm getting this Christmas?"

[lilium_evansiae]

"Not a one," she says, easily.

(After he's kissed her, of course.)

"Well, maybe one. Maybe.

"If you ask very nicely."

Claudia (at a nearby table, poking at some programming on her laptop) looks a little... confused, when she spots Lily's gift-wrap central.
"...Okay, I see three options here: You have a lot of birthdays hitting at once, it's close to Christmas for you, or you're the most well-prepared person in the history of ever."

Lily raises an eyebrow.

"It's Milliways.

"You really only see three options?"

[claudiometer]

"Well, the three most likely to apply, let's put it that way. Even at home we rarely get the luxury of stopping at three options." Until they narrow it down, anyway.
"One of those cover it, or do I have to move on to robot unicorns?"

"It's almost Christmas," Lily says.

"No robot unicorns required."
