"Hello Luna-san," says Ako.

Luna seems to be writing every time Ako sees her.

[sees_them_too]

Luna looks up and sets her quill down for the moment.

"Hello," she says.

"How are you?"

[seat_five_girl]

"All right," say Ako, "And you?"

[sees_them_too]

Luna seems to think on the question for a moment before she nods.

"Well enough," she replies. "Home for the summer."

She's never been quite to happy to be back home between terms.

There is a redhead beside her as she orders a coke with cherries and reads the note, she remembers that all to well.

"Hello."

Luna looks up with a bit of a smile.

"Hello, Ginny."

"How are you doing?"

She asks softly.

"Well enough. Very glad to be home for the summer."

Luna sets her quill aside, glancing back over her letter as she does so.

"You know what happened at the end of the Triwizard Tournament."

It's not a question, really. Luna has decided to operate on the notion that people from her world, though from different times, are party to the same news and events (at least until someone lets her know otherwise.)

Which is all just as well. It would mean it's not necessary to explain what happened.

Cy sits near Luna, quietly.

"Hey."

Luna looks up and smiles a bit in greeting. She's looking much more like her usual self, compared to her last bar visit.

"Hello, Cy. How are you?"

"I'm good. And you?" She looks better, but is that how she feels?

[sees_them_too]

"Better," Luna confirms with a nod.

Being home with Dad helps. A lot.

"I think I might have fallen asleep the last time I talked to you." Or at least come very close. "I apologize. That was rather rude."

A couple of stools down, a deputy U.S. Marshal is also sitting at the bar, working his way through a dwindling stack of paperwork.

His white Stetson is taking up real estate on the counter, well clear of his coffee mug.

The scratch of his Bic goes silent, and he mutters under his breath, crossing out half a paragraph of notes in black ink.

The muttering catches Luna's attention and she glances over at the man.

And his very white hat.

"It's difficult, isn't it?" she says, with commiseration. "When you can't quite get words to say what you want."

The letter she's currently working on isn't exactly easy going. She understands.

He glances over, one corner of his mouth quirking upward.

"You'd think after years of filling out these things in pen, I'd quit making so many mistakes."

His eyes flick to her quill, and the accompanying bottle of ink.

"Maybe I should try it your way, sometime - I'd probably be more careful."

[sees_them_too]

"Only if you used an enchanted one. The regular ones make as many mistakes as any pen."

It might be difficult to tell if Luna is being serious or poking fun a bit.

"Though if you're really good at erasure charms, it doesn't matter. Those clean up mistakes easily enough."
