If a stray pebble hit Carlotta, many more just hit Sarah since she is directly below the exploding imaginary rock. Thus her arms are covering her face.
Surprisingly, she isn't bleeding or bruised, and her arms sport no welts.
"Ow, that was too close," she whines/complains. After a bit, she stops hiding behind her forearms. "Hi Carlotta, I didn't get you with any of that did I?"
"Well, I am trying to get the timing right on a spell so that I don't hurt myself with it. But both spells have... Each time they are a little stronger or a little weaker." She's never been good at fine tuning magic; she has always been more attuned to power rather than finesse.
So, in addition to being some sort of merchant with a strange interest in obstacle courses, she is also a magic user. You learn something new every day!
"Real rock are harder, in many ways," she complains. "What goes up must come back down, but rocks that come from nothing go back to being nothing."
A couple of imaginary pebbles hit her, causing her to protest their existence loudly. "OW" She squirms around a bit on the ground, before sitting up to face the Fool.
"Preferably they return to nothingness before hitting me."

"Gracious, Sarah, what are you doing?" she asks, hobbling over on her crutches. Her leg is just in a cast now, rather than a metal cage.

She rolls over on the grass to try to face the direction of the meep. The meep and the person it came from are familiar. "Oh hi!"
