Well, look who's here!

"Wrex?"

Wrex will probably notice that Tali looks different. Or, well, her clothing does.

The clothes are different, but he recognizes the voice. It's the Quarian they just rescued from Saren's thugs. Head and shotgun swivel smoothly towards her. A new arrival can always be a traitor.

"What are you doing here?" He notices the different clothes. "And where did you keep a spare suit?" He's heard about the many pockets of the Quarian suits, but this is ridiculous.

Tali seems startled - and a bit hurt. "Wrex, why are you pointing a gun at me? What's the matter with..." Just then, she gets the implications of the 'spare suit' remark. Tali facepalms. Well, mask palms. "Oh, keelah. Sometimes I hate this place."

[just_wrex]

There's no threatening vibe at all coming from the Quarian, but still Wrex keeps the shotgun up. Maaaaaybe there's a smidgen less of an implicit threat of explosive violence in his posture, though.

"That puts you one step ahead of me, then. You know what this place is. Sure as the Void it wasn't in the Normandy's garage before."

"It's called Milliways. It's sort of...everywhere and nowhere. In space and time. Which sounds crazy, and it is. Can you please lower that thing? People are staring."

There is a long silence, and then Wrex tilts his head to one side, regarding Tali with one blood-red eye. At least he's not looking at her down the gun's sights.

"You're trying to tell me you come from the future?"

[stargypsy]

"A bit more than two years in your future, yes," Tali says. "This is bizarre. I just saw you on Tuchanka."

Krogan aren't the easiest people to read, but that? That looks very much like incredulity.

"On Tuchanka?" And to compound it, -that- sounds like incredulity, too.

[stargypsy]

"Yes. You were trying to..." Tali stops. "I shouldn't say. Nobody should know his future."

[just_wrex]

Wrex nods, agreeing to that. It's bad enough to know the future of your whole species.

"Very well. Let's say I do believe you. This place is everywhere and every...When at the same time. How does it work, then? Why do you come from two years later than I do?"

[stargypsy]

"It's the door," Tali says, pointing a spindly finger at it. "It can open to anywhere, pretty much. Whoever decides where it goes seems to have a fondness for humans." If Wrex looks around, he will notice that most of the patrons are human. "I'm assuming by the way you reacted that you know me, but not very well."

[just_wrex]

"The up-and-coming new species..." There is a hint of sarcasm in Wrex's voice. Humans better watch out, lest they end up neutered and dying out.

"We just got back to the Normandy after getting you out of a tight spot with Saren's assassins. Don't even know your name."

[stargypsy]

"You called me 'the quarian' for..." Tali stops and clears her throat. "It's Tali. My name is Tali."

Wrex nods.

"Tali." Of course, she already knows his name.

[stargypsy]

Tali nods back. "You get a free drink the first time you visit. You might want to take advantage of that before I start explaining. That will help it seem like less of a shock."

[just_wrex]

"We Krogan deal well with shock. I can take that drink later, if they have something strong enough for me to notice it."
