Enzo is about to greet her when he notices her glare and follows it.

"Oh. Crash. You Bound?"

"Yeah," says Ako as she slumps a bit more, "First time for me to get stuck on this side of the door."

"Frag, I'm sorry. I hope it won't be long."

If the narration actually manages to work out what happens when in the next segment of cannon at a reasonable pace it shouldn't.

"Me too. At least I won't be missing anything back home."

Botherable, like by a glomping hug? "Ako-chan!"

Ako jerks and the cup of tea tips over.

"Oh!" says Ako, "Jordan-chan, you startled me."

The tea's a loss. Hugs first, then clean up.

An unfortunate causality: hugs then Jordan will help clean up, and order new tea for Ako.

A diet pepsi for herself. "How are you?"

"Stuck," says Ako flatly, "But on the side where I'm not going to miss as much."

Better than being locked out anyway.

"You?"
