Actually, Jordan would think those are awesome designs. She will, in a minute, after the coffee mug she is holding is consumed. First the Evil Genius needs to settle down on a big comfortable chair, like so, and relax.

Besides, in flannel PJ's and bear paw slippers, she is not in the position to mock anyone.

He grumbles something at her that might be some sort of greeting. It's hard to tell, what with his face half-buried in his pillow.

She mumbles something back that might be a greeting too.

Hmm, caffeine. Later she will have another mug with cream and sugar, but for the initial pick-me-up, black coffee.

Travis says nothing for a long time, as he completely fails to go to sleep. Eventually, he turns his head so that anything he says is passable for clear.

"How can you drink that stuff?" he asks. "I can smell it from here."

"Colombian Blend. It'll give a caffeine high to your coffee maker." She grins a bit. "It's real coffee. You know, instead of the weird coffelike drinks."

"I'll have cream and sugar later." And probably eggs and bacon too, all part of a balanced breakfast.

"Eurgh. Red Bull'll do that, too."

He buries his face back in his pillow.

"Red Bull costs more and tastes worse." Jordan shrugs. "Unless you add vodka, and it's way too early for drinking."

"Tea, then?" he squeaks from somewhere in his pillow.

At this point, he's just looking for a reason to bicker.

"Tea goes in the afternoon." Four PM, sharp. "Earl Gray with lemon."

No, Jordan does not mind some competitive bickering.

"Black tea with honey," Travis says. "That's a good breakfast tea."

"Honey goes on toast, with butter. Or on brownies. Or pancakes." More of a delicious, complete breakfast. "Hm... pancakes with honey."

"Next you'll say you put milk on your tea."

"No," Travis says, sounding mildly disgusted. "If you're going to drink tea, then it should taste like tea."

Tea with honey, apparently.

"Oh, good, you are not completely lost yet." She grins and nods. "Now you just need to learn to enjoy coffee that tastes like coffee."

"It tastes like a shoe," Travis says. "An expensive shoe, maybe, but still a shoe."

"Obviously, years of drinking inferior caffeinated drinks have devastated your taste buds, sir." Jordan grins and winks. "There's no hope for you then."
