Nicholas is feeling rather decent today. Much as he hates to admit it, the time off is doing him quite well. The little things aren't sending him into full-blown fits any more, and sudden changes to the routine aren't causing panic attacks (although, there's every possibility that Janine can be given as much credit for both of these as the time off from work).
So when he steps into the bar after a bit of cleaning up around the flat, he does actually consider stopping off for a drink.
Well, actually. He does more than consider it. He goes up to the bar and orders himself a glass of wine, and asks for a newspaper and a pen. For the crossword.
