Beware, Milliways. Tonight there is a ruthless killer about, a master of disguise, a creature of cunning and cruelty.

There is no telling where it could show up. It could be anywhere!

Though the rustling paper sack on the bar may be a clue.

Moist notices the paper bag and taps the top of it and then quickly withdraws his hand.

There is sudden rustling movement from within, as whatever the sack contains twists to look up, looking for what caused the noise.

The next tap is to the bottom of the sack and one right near the opening.

The tap to the bottom of the sack - where it's occupant is sitting, in fact - is distracting for a moment. The tap to the top opening of the sack, however, gets batted at by a velvety, white paw.

Rustling paper sack.

Cue one pilot, Eyeing It Carefully.

It rustles as though there is something inside it, curled up or moving in a circle, perhaps, twisting to get comfortable.

There may be another noise along with the rustling, very faint, like a well-tuned motor heard from far away.

That sounds like a cat. Trudy relaxes, a bit, but still watches.

Pandora makes everyone paranoid.

The sack is near the edge of the bar, and the cat is kind of enthusiastic about finding the most comfortable way of curling up in his happy place paper sack. From how the sack is moving, it's going to fall over at any moment.

...Return of the crinkling bag fort!

Okay, so Tyler did just sneak in for a midnight snack without his little brother bugging him about it, when he spotted the crinkling brown paper bag and grinned.

So, with a whisper to the bar to order a loooong stick with some feathers at the end of it... he's just going to tickle the opening of the bag.

There's this colorful thing. Colorful feathery thing.

It's attacking his paper sack! Retaliate! Retaliate!

There is a velvety-white paddy-paw batting at the feathers, this way and that. The bag crackles even more.

The feathery thing twitches dodging the first swipe of the velvet paddypaw.

Tickle! Tickle! Tickle!

Oh shoot. Caught by the Paddypaw of justice in a corner of the bag it has no escape!

With one paw's claws hooked, the other paw comes to join it. TEAMING UP FOR JUSTICE! Or investigation. There are fuzzy, white scritchable ears peeks up over the top of the bag.

If there hadn't already been rustling from the sack, there certainly is when the scent of that sushi reaches the sack's occupant.

So much so that the sack falls over onto its side. That the opening of the bag is squarely pointing towards Nori's plate is pure coincidence, certainly.

There are two intent green eyes in there, shining in the shadows.

The cat may emerge from the sack, watching her, before carefully picking up the piece of sushi in its mouth and returning to the mouth of the paper sack. There, it settles down to eat. There are happy nommy sounds. Mmmmm, tuna.

Urquhart, who is still a bit knurd, discovers the paper bag on the bar when he comes for another scotch to combat the effect of the Klatchian coffee.

It looks like an animal is in there. To conclude from the size, it might be a cat or rabbit. A rabbit would either flail in panic or sit still to play dead. So, quiet, unbothered rustling? Cat.

If there was a bookie here, Urquhart would bet on the white cat, That One, rather than one of the annoying Ostrogoth's cats.

So he leaves the paper back well alone. He merely leans on the bar beside it, orders another scotch, and sips.

His long blond hair is touching the top of the bar, though, and may be a little too close to the opening of the bag...

Very carefully, (though of course the cat within knows that he is invisible, right?) a velvety, white paw extends from the mouth of the sack, to bat at the hair to see if it'll move.

As Urquhart lifts the glass and takes the next sip, the hair moves a little on the wooden surface.

He might be aware or not that the cat within the bag might be interested -- or not.

The movement certainly interests the cat. The paper sack rustles as the cat bats at the hair again, more quickly as the hair (clearly) tries to escape.
