"Hi there!" chimes Bumblebee, in the voice of Peter Gabriel at the very start of "Big Time". He adds a wave of greeting just to be on the safe side.

Hey, he's used to Japanese women with blue hair. He was a guest of honor at the Robotics Society of Japan's annual convention in 2009.

Bumblebee shakes his head at that. The next voice that sounds is, perhaps surprisingly, female. "It's real (Oh, yes it is, oh yeah)!"

(Don't mind him. You get used to this after a while.)

Even if it's in the rafters at Milliways. Standing upside down from one of the higher rafters.

It's been some time since the Flying Squirrel last saw the yellow one, and the other guy from the shooting range.

Bumblebee's just glad to be here. Ironhide, however, is glancing around the bar- and that includes up. He nudges Bumblebee with one elbow and points upwards. "Don't forget to do a full sweep," he mutters.

"Bumblebee," says Ironhide warningly, and the little yellow bot subsides.

There's a cheerful, electronc booWEEP! as a junkyard-built combat droid comes lumbering toward the two Cybertronians. (A very small, three-wheeled black robot trails behind; Skitch can't quite match D0G's speed.)

Bumblebee whistles a gleeful greeting. Ironhide just turns and waves to the newcomers. "Hey," he says. "Been a while."

In lieu of an audible greeting, D0G simply sweeps the smaller 'bot up into a hug.

(Don't laugh, Ironhide, you're next.)

Bee makes some noises that sound remarkably like R2-D2 in distress, but takes it pretty well overall. Ironhide will be giving D0G a baleful look the whole time, but- eh. He'll survive. "Good to see you too," hemutters.

Coming into the bar two nanoseconds after the mechs is the sprite picture of parental exhaustion.

Ana may be new, but she's got both her mommy and her daddy running like freshly-decapitated chickens.

So yeah; he probably doesn't quite notice which mech he happens across first.

Yawns are good for making sight difficult.

[Matrix isn't picky about who he meets, and neither am I. And, if anyone wants to know, Ana is back home with AndrAIa or a sitter. The Game sprite would probably kill me for bringing their alpha into Milliways this early on. :(!]

People get upset when they walk into someone with as many moving parts as Bumblebee.

That causes matrix' mouth to snap shut. Audibly.

"What? Huh?"

Pause.

"Who said that?"

I think he's caught in that weird half-awake-half-asleep level of consciousness. So yeah; his brain needs time to catch up.

Bumblebee puts up a hand and waves in Matrix's general direction. He's kind of funny like this. It's like watching some of the soldiers the day after they've played poker all night.

Recognising Bumblebee but not Ironhide [for starters, he's not red and he's not dead], the Paoli brothers make their way over to the Autobot.

They have a request they'd like to make, now that everyone is here in the same place and time.

Pleasantries first.

"Greetings."

"Bumblebee, correct?"

Just making sure. They usually have very good memories, but still...
