Elizabeth doesn't know what to expect from her first baby shower and is, in fact, rather apprehensive when she arrives in the bar this evening. Unsurprisingly, the pregnant Captain Turner is dressed as a pirate. She quickly replaces her hat and sits beside Bar, though she is very careful not to touch her, not even to lean against the wood and rest her aching back. As has been shown time and time again, she is rather fond of being alive.

Elizabeth isn't smiling, but there's a certain anticipation evident in her gaze if one looks closely enough.

It looks disturbingly pink and... gloopy.

"I've had little cause to distrust your recommendations before," she comments, one eyebrow arched in a skeptical fashion. "I hope that won't change now."

She takes the mug.

Eyes on the straw as she swirls it through the smoothie, Elizabeth replies, "Not that I'm aware."

A sniff suggests strawberries and bananas. She approves.

"What do we do now?"

There is nothing dignified about trying to sip a thick smoothie through a rather thin straw. After her first attempt, Elizabeth looks away and tries again.

A faint wince signifies the oft lamented brain freeze.

"Have you heard from Jack?"

Just an innocent question, that.

The grin is not returned, but a slight crinkling around her eyes suggests a certain level of humor.

As far as she is concerned, Jack should be the one in Mike's current condition.
