One could be forgiven for mistaking the man at the door for a newcomer. He's certainly got the shocked look down to a tee, and there's really nothing about him that suggests the idealistic college kid who was last here.
But after a few long moments, he shakes the look off and smiles a little. "Well, isn't this something."
The narration recommends not asking why he's carrying an answering machine. It's... a long story.
