Spoilers like whoa for Fallout 3.]
The door opens on a blaze of light and Ellen, wearing only a
blue and gold Vault-Tec jumpsuit, steps through. It's not her usual one, having no armor or reinforcement of any kind and bearing the number '112' across the back instead of '101'. Come to think of it, that in itself is fairly unusual, since the number is visible instead of being hidden by a backpack or holstered rifle of some kind.
She doesn't seem to care, though. At least, not beyond shivering in it as she heads over to the Bar and requests a mug of Ovaltine in a voice almost too quiet to hear. From there it's a straight line to one of the chairs by the fire, where she can huddle up and not pay any attention to things going on around her- or at least try not to. Some days the world bites down harder than others, and today, well, it really, really bit.
