A Scottish autumn doesn't make for very great sunbathing weather, so Sunshine is curled up on a couch by the fireplace with a bakery bag of leftovers from her earlier baking. She'd found a book on magical communication which she thought might be of use to her, but it seems as though it's from a different world from hers.

In any case, the shadows thrown by the letter impressions on the hand-pressed pages were making the words on the page move and distort disconcertingly, quickly giving her a headache.

So she sits, watching the more normally-shifting shadows of the fire and still trying to think of ways she could contact one who common sense tells her no human in their right mind would try to contact.
