Tom steps through the House of Arch painting and heads for the Security Office, which he does on a regular basis these days. It's just that... lately there hasn't been much new information and not being an investigator by trade, there hasn't been much he could do. He has, however, read and enjoyed all of the Sherlock Holmes novels in hopes of being more helpful at some point.
Today brings the news that the murder victim's
head has been found. In the Lost and Found, of all places, and Tom decides he really doesn't want to think on the how's and why's of that occurrence.
While he's in the office, another visitor arrives. Between the Ned and Tom, and the powers they both possess,
they manage to derive clues from West himself, after a fashion.
After a much needed drink, Tom checks the Security Office once more for someone to report to. Not finding anyone, he returns to the bar - and another drink. His quill flashes over the parchment as he writes his report of the glimpse into the unfortunate dead's mind.
