Ironhide's seen something similar back at Autobase, which is why he's staying back a ways. No sense making a man waste his ammo, after all. Still, it's worth watching.
The mech grunts and settles into a stance more configured for holding a steady position on soft soil. He'll speak up when the shooting's done. More polite that way.
And so the exercise begins. For those who don't know what it looks like, it's a bit like this [at around 5:10 into the clip], only with a smaller number of moving targets, no beam to stand on, and no web shielding to shoot through.
It taxes Gun, though, and once that's over, is signaling that this will be today's finale, and that he should take notice of the company he now has.
