The first few days since he'd adopted Bogart had been interesting. The most interesting part of the experience was the fact that the pig was actually growing attached to him.
Dan suspects that it might have something to do with the fact that he's been keeping the pig happy with plenty of apples and peanut butter to snack on (in addition to a healthy diet recommended by Miss Bar) and the fact that he's been taking Bogart for long walks outside in the nice weather.
But now, a boy and his dog man and his pig are in the bar, sitting on the floor near the couches. Dan is reading a book on 'games and activities to entertain your potbelly pig' and Bogart is sleeping, blissfully unaware of his new owners plans to get him some exercise and stimulate him intellectually.
Even if his owner has no idea why you would need to intellectually stimulate a pig.
