Fact: Doc Potter's hands are suffering from first-degree burns, and his sleeves are singed.

Fact: The demon bunny is, even more remarkably, asleep, and has a muzzle firmly affixed on its snout.

Fact: Doc Potter looks about thisclose to conking out.

Jacen is fascinated by the demon bunny. He's seen them around outside, but there were always enough other, calmer animals to keep him occupied.

He peeeeers at Doc + bunny.

"Is it okay?"

Offering Jacen a quick smile, Doc nods as he ruffles the fur between the demon bunny's ears.

"I -- yeah, I-I think so. He's just a bit on the small side."

"Yeah -- I thought they were usually bigger than that."

He smiles, a little rueful.

"I never seen one up close, though. C'n I pet him?"

After considering the question for a moment, Doc Potter shifts his arms for slightly easier access to the demon bunny.

"Sure. I, uh. The muzzle ought to do its job, but keep your hands away from his face."

Fact: Dan is intrigued.

He comes over (quietly) and takes a seat in a nearby chair.

"Doc," he nods in greeting.

Doc inclines his head, smiling a little lopsidedly as the rabbit snuffles in its sleep.

"Hey there, Evans."

Awwwwwww, bunnysnuffle.

"Found yourself a friend?"

He certainly hopes it's not a patient.

"Hope so," Doc responds, looking down at the charge in his arms.

"I mean, uh."

He manages to waggle the (red) fingers of one hand in Dan's direction.

"We got off on a weird sort'a foot."

Will moves down the Bar towards Doc Potter,

"Ye want somethin' to drink while yer rabbit's restin', sir?"

He's not quite sure that's a demon bunny but won't ask just yet.

Said (there's no better word for it) quite plaintively:

"I'd love a drink."

"What's yer pleasure? An 'rhaps could find ye somethin' to keep the wee one in."

"Uh - bourbon? A -- I don't know -- basket or something might be good, too."

Fact: Ben Wade is nonplussed as all hell.

Quietly, "Jesus, Mary, 'n Joseph -- Doc, you know what you're holdin' there?"

The burns say yes, but he's just checking.

"I -- uh."

Doc seems completely at a loss as to how to respond.

"Yes?"

"Looks an awful lot like a little bitty demon bunny."

Ben should know; he's shot at enough of them in the woods outside the bar.

A pause, and Doc Potter looks back down at the bundle in his arms.

"He is."

Fact: Bill Pardy and the demon bunnies have a long history of not getting along.

He's come thisclose to being set on fire on several occasions and been chased enough times to know how dangerous the furry little creatures can be.

So, this probably explains why when he sits down onto a stool one over from Doc Potter to order dinner he falls off said stool in a wide-eyed panic after seeing the tiny bundle.

"WOAH SHIT!"

It's unsurprising that this wakes the little thing up.

As such, Doc Potter's eyes widen, and he comes distressingly close to dropping the bunny altogether.

"Are -- are you alright?"

Bill scrambles up into a crouch, and if he looks like he's hiding behind his stool from a tiny bunny rabbit well, he is.

"Yeah, I-- is that a demon bunny?"

Maybe it's not. Maybe he's just overreacting and some guy wasn't crazy enough to bring one of the evil little things inside.
