Saturday night happy hour

Ianto, as always, is pleased to find himself in Milliways, and takes a seat at the bar, anticipating an endless cup of coffee and a night of good talk.

The napkin that pops up is no surprise, though. He reads it and nods. "Absolutely, I can do that."

He goes behind the bar and thinks for a moment, then writes on the specials board:

A lady who Ianto might recognize from a previous encounter slides onto a bar stool.

It has been a while, but Ianto still smiles when he sees her. "Urania! Right?"

"Hello, Ianto. Good to see you, even if our positions are reversed"

"Good to see you too." He holds up his hands. "Bar has called on me a few times. I suspect when she thinks people need to be kept awake a few more hours."

"Well, you're very good at that. She knows what she does."

She idly traces 'hello' in Greek, her Greek, in the condensation on Bar's surface.

Ianto chuckles. "Thank you."

"Can you mix me a California Roll?"

She grins.

"Please?"

"Like . . . the sushi?"

Webtender does not have this drink! :O!

"Sort of."

That's because it's never been entered, it was invented by the mun and her friends one late late night in college.

"Vodka martini, use ginger vodka, add 2 ounces of red ginger limeade, stir with ice, strain it into a glass with a wasabi salt rim. And put a slice of avocado on the rim"

"Wow, that's . . . interesting."

He gets to work. Fortunately, Bar's kitchen has an avocado.

"I like bizarre drinks sometimes. And I really like ginger."

He puts the completed drink in front of her. "I hope it tastes better than it sounds."

She sips and smiles.

"Delicious. Next time, though, splash heavier on the vodka."

She rubs the avocado slice through the salt and dips it into the drink.

"Mmm... All it needs is a little crab."

"Yes, ma'am. More vodka and seafood."

His face says it sounds absolutely repulsive and he'd like some nice, ordinary coffee now.

"Oh, I didn't mean to add crab to the drink. I meant to make it like a real California Roll. I'd hate to have crab in my drinks."

"Unless one were having a shrimp cocktail, I imagine it would be nasty."
