Charlie doesn't really have a reaction when he gets asked to bartend. He doesn't overly mind, but at the same time there's a not small part of him that wants to ignore the request and go to sleep, for however long it takes for his Teja to come back

Kate sighed, "Just tea, and what's going on? I know I've been busy for a while. How are things between you and Doc?"

He takes a large ceramic mug down from a cabinet to make her tea.

Kate then studied the specials some more, "No... it's not that. Wait... did you meet someone?"

"Other than Teja, no." He took a deep and careful breath. "But that in itself might not be working out after all."

Kate was now staring at him blankly and realizing she's missed more than she thought of late.

"At least until three days ago." He wonders what honestly went wrong, that such a sudden change was even possible. "We--Teja and I--and been on holiday in a mutual friend's world, and he faded and came back here....and unfortunately he got reset to when he first came in, right after he died. He doesn't remember anything he's done with anyone here." Including me.

"God... I had no idea. I'm sorry... I know I haven't been around much lately, or just with Will when I am. That's not right. I'm so sorry."

He could have been paying more attention and told Teja not to take the cuff off. He knew what it was for, after all. "Tell Will that Teja's not himself, if you see him. He's not...he's just different."

Kate slowly nodded as she stood up, tea still untouched, "I'll tell him. And if you ever do want to talk sometime... let me know. I'll try to be here for you if you need it."
